What Is Conflict?

"Conflict occurs when one person or group, believes that another person or group is preventing them from achieving their needs or goals or preventing them from expressing their values or beliefs in a way which they consider to be reasonable.
Destructive conflict (i.e. the kind that hurts) arises as a result of the subsequent loss, or threat of loss, which triggers psychological and emotional responses that the parties then act upon. These responses to conflict are typically negative and harmful”
Conflict Is A Normal, Natural And Inevitable Aspect of Working Life.
As a reasonable employer, it is likely that you already recognise and value the contribution made by your employees. However, in any organisation, problems sometimes do occur - ranging from the minor to the more serious. It is right that all employees should feel confident to raise these issues in the knowledge that they will be treated fairly, with dignity and with respect. It is also right that employees should feel confident that they will be treated fairly if they make a mistake or when a breakdown in relations occurs.

What Happens Once The Parties Achieve A Signed Agreement?

12 MONTHS after mediation concludes (this is included in our mediation fee.) Unlike some mediation providers, whose approach is to 'cut and run', we want the agreement to be sustained as much as you do.
