Arts Council England
TCM has been awarded the contract to establish an internal mediation scheme within Arts Council England. This contract includes providing mediation servces, developing a communications strategy and training internal stakeholders.

HM Cabinet Office
Total Conflict Management has been awarded the contract to establish and deliver a workplace mediation scheme for the Cabinet Office.

Department for Culture Media and Sport (DCMS)
Total Conflict Management has been awarded the contract to set up and run a workplace mediation scheme for DCMS. We have also provided workplace mediation and dispute resolution skills training for DCMS managers.

Croydon Council
Total Conflict Management supported Croydon Council as they established their Dignity at Work Policy. This included developing an internal employment mediation scheme, training a team of internal workplace mediators, undertaking a series of Council wide Dignity At Work seminars attended by over three hundred council staff and providing ongoing support and development of the scheme.

East Midlands Region Local Government Association
David Liddle provided a two-day mediation and conflict resolution skills training event for 12 participants from Councils across the East Midlands Region.

Hastings Council
Total Conflict Management was commissioned to provide a six-day fully accredited training programme for a team of internal workplace mediators within Hastings Council. The mediators are now active and the scheme is already making a substantial impact across the Authority.

London Borough Of Hounslow
David Liddle has worked intensively with Hounslow Council to establish their Fair Treatment Policy and in-house mediation scheme. This has included training over twenty internal mediators to a nationally accredited standard, running a series of awareness raising workshops, delivering investigation skills training, providing support and CPD for practicing mediators as well as undertaking detailed evaluation into the success of the scheme. We have also supported the resolution of a number of complex and multiple party conflicts through mediation.

Leicester City Council
LCC were one of our first clients. We worked with the Council during Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) to integrate mediation within the council’s extensive programme of change. This included providing a wide range of very successful mediation interventions and training services.

University of Southampton
David Liddle has been working with Southampton University to support the design and delivery of their internal workplace mediation scheme. This has included extensive consultancy work with the Head of Diversity, training for a team of ten Harassment Contact Officers within the University as well as providing accredited training for their team of 12 internal workplace mediators. As a result the University has developed a model of mediation, which is widely acknowledged to be an example of best practice by a growing number of Higher Education Institutions across the UK.

The London School of Economics and Political Science
Total Conflict Management provided training for a team of investigating officers within the University. This covered a wide range of topics including interviewing and listening skills, managing the investigation, collecting evidence and preparing a final report.

University of Teesside
David Liddle has delivered two, highly successful, conflict resolution training events for senior managers within Teesside University. This has subsequently been full integrated into the Universities ongoing management development programme.

CAFOD
Total Conflict Management has trained a team of internal mediators within CAFOD and provided conflict resolution training for numerous managers from across this large NGO.

Mediation in Kirklees (MIK)
Total Conflict Management has provided comprehensive training in multi-party facilitation and community conferencing for mediators within MIK. This has included mediating in reported cases of racial harassment, cross cultural conflict resolution and large group facilitation.

Portsmouth, Broxtowe Borough and Leeds Community Mediation Services
Total Conflict Management has provided two-day conversion skills training for mediators within these three services. The training is OCN accredited and has received widespread approval from all course participants.

David Liddle and TCM Associate, Rashmi Patel, developed and delivered four investigation skills workshops for managers across this large Housing Association and social care provider.

Northumbria Healthcare NHS Trust
TCM recently trained a team of internal workplace mediators within the Trust. We also provide ongoing support to the mediation team including regular action learning events. In 2008 we are training the Trust's mediators to resolve team and gropup conflicts.

Barts and The London NHS Trust
Total Conflict Management developed and delivered a four-day conciliation skills training course for Complaints Leads, PALS staff and Clinical Governance staff within this London Trust. This training featured in the Trusts Annual Report and was highlighted as an example of best practice in a subsequent review of the Clinical Governance and Complaints Services.

Central Manchester and Manchester Children’s University Hospitals NHS Trust (CM&MC)
Currently holding the record as our customer with the longest name, we have worked intensively with the HR and Staff Support Services within the Trust to set up their internal workplace mediation scheme. This has included initial consultancy and audit work, providing OCN certificated training for their team of twelve internal workplace mediators, undertaking a series of management development seminars and providing ongoing consultancy and support services.

Crime Concern and Thames Valley Police
David Liddle co-wrote and co-delivered a six-day training course in community conferencing and multiple party mediation. David then went on to write the UK’s Guide to Community Conferencing and has spoken at numerous regional events and conferences organised in conjunction with Crime Concern.

Kent Police
David Liddle has been working with Kent Police for many years to support the development of their internal mediation scheme. The scheme has benefited from the energetic and innovative leadership of the Diversity Manager within Kent Police. The scheme is receiving numerous referrals every month and Total Conflict Management has trained over thirty workplace mediators within the Force. In addition, we provide mediation and consultancy services as required along with ongoing support to their team of mediators.
